As the client has given their mobile number to the vet to be contacted about care and services for their pet there is no legal restriction on using the data for that purpose only
We provide each practice with a Data Protection Agreement that confirms we will only use the data for purposes agreed by the Vet Practice.
All PMS’s allow data to be exported that includes the relevant details required for the types of campaign we manage. Namely: Title; Surname; Branch (if applicable); and Client Telephone numbers. There are many different types of PMS in existence and we have had years of experience in extracting data from them so we will help any practice that runs into difficulty.
Many clients will believe that it is the Practice texting them personally. If a client replies with information that we consider urgent (e.g. “One of my pets needs checking over”) then we will call the practice as soon as possible. Any other less urgent replies will be put together into an “exception report” that will be sent to the practice by email.
The Vet Practice does not have to worry about this. We will clean all the data before broadcasts are sent and find mobile numbers that are not in the Mobile field.
