SMSComms began life in 2006 to exploit the use of SMS within the Animal Health industry. The aim was to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Compliance Communications. We offered the first managed services that allowed Vets to use SMS instead of post. This is now commonplace amongst all Vet Practices. Every message we send is personalised for the client and practice and targeted for the appropriate per owner.
Since then, we have expanded our services to include Promotional and Health campaigns for both Animal Health and Food Companies. Nearly 90% of all those over 24 have a Smart Phone. SMSComms continue to develop new services for use on these phones. This includes Loyalty Cards, Promotions, Surveys and Health Campaigns. These campaigns include 2-Way communication to allow clients and Vet to communicate directly without ringing the practice.

Matthew Hind has worked in Systems Development for more than 30 years helping to apply technologies to resolve different business problems. He has worked with SMS since the mid 90's and set up VetsTxt in 2006. The goal was to ensure clients perceived that each communication came from the Vet to them as an individual and not as part of a large impersonal broadcast.

Colin followed a career in British Telecom for 27 years managing a wide range of business areas. These included product development, marketing, strategy and finance. He left BT in 2007 to set up his own business as a consultant in Telecommunications and worked internationally as well as in the UK. He teamed up with Matthew in 2014 to help develop the SMSComms business. Colin lives in London and enjoys playing golf and watching Chelsea.
